SOFTWARE INSTALLATION : How to Install an Operating System?

Installation of Operating System
1. The computer is start.
2. The CD of windows XP is put into the CD ROM.
3. BIOS set up is boot from CD ROM.
4. The computer is then restart.
5. Then, Enter button is press to set up Windows XP.
6. End-user licensed agreement is then read and F8 button is press to accept the agreement.
7. ESC button is then press to continue installs a fresh copy of Windows XP without repairing.
8. D button is then press to delete partition C.
9. Enter button is then press to delete partition C.
10. To confirm deleted the partition C, L button is press.
11. Then, click D button to delete partition D.
12. Enter button is then press to delete partition D.
13. To confirm deleted the partition D, L button is then press.
14. Then, C button is press to create new partition.
15. Put 20 000MB for the size of a new partition.
16. Enter button is then press.
17. Partition C is now created.
18. Then, C button is press to create another new partition.
19. The balance MB for the size of a new partition is appear in the box and accepted.
20. Enter button is then press.
21. Partition D is now created.
22. Unpartitioned space is automatically created.
23. Enter button is then press to install Windows XP.
24. Press Enter button again to continue format the partition using the NTFS file system.
25. The setup is now formatting.
26. The computer is restart and boot from hard disk after the formatting is completed.
27. After that, Windows is start collecting information, dynamic update and preparing installation.
28. Then, it wills Install Windows.
29. The Regional and Language Options will appear.
30. Customize button is click.
31. The language and location is set.
32. Apply button is click.
33. Then, Okay button is click.
34. Next button is then click.
35. The name, organization is set and next button is click.
36. The product key is key in, Next button is then click.
37. The date, time and time zone are then set.
38. Next button is then click.
39. Typical networking system is chosen and the Next button is click.
40. The workgroup and computer domain is set up.
41. The Next button is click.
42. Then setting up computer, after that the Next button is click.
43. The internet connectivity is then checked.
44. LAN is chose and Next button is click.
45. Then, high speed connection is set up.
46. Click on obtain IP and DNS automatically.
47. Do register with Microsoft.
48. Name is type and Next button is click.
49. Then, it is done.
50. Click Finish button.
51. Windows XP is now successfully install.
